We can not ban the movie ‘Gang of Lagos ‘ – NFVBC.
After certain rumors that the movie ‘ Gang of Lagos’ would be banned, The National Film and Video Censor Board has claim that there are certain reasons that the movie can not be banned .
The Board announced that there are certain platforms that cannot be controlled due the limit of their legislation on online platforms. Therefore they can’t ban the movie.
If the Govt would make it possible for them to regulate online platforms then they would be able to take such steps.
Online platform is difficult to regulate and it is not part of our mandate
